SOLSKJÆR FACING FRESH INJURY CRISIS WITH NUMBER OF PLAYERS OUT

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær is suffering a deepened injury problem at the club, with several star players picking up different injuries. United welcome West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford in a must-win tie on Saturday as the club is looking to get a win to bring back their season on track.

Marcus Rashford teamed up with the England squad after sustaining a mild shoulder injury but made a return to the club after it was confirmed that he couldn’t cope with it. He faces a race against time to be fit for the game against Saturday, with a 50% chance.

French forward Anthony Martial is also a doubt for the match after picking up a knock on his country’s clash against Portugal on Sunday. He was reported to have picked up a back injury, after earlier picking up a knock. He however lasted a while in the game and was brought off in the 78th minute as he missed the 4-2 victory over Sweden. He also has a 50% chance of taking part in the game on Saturday.

Victor Lindelöf was also involved in the France game, representing his country Sweden. He was substituted after playing for 66 minutes. He also has a 50:50 chance of being fit for the game on Saturday.

Mason Greenwood missed United’s last Premier League game away at Goodison Park against Everton due to illness, according to Solskjær. It is presently unsure whether he will participate in the game though.

Summer signing EdinsonCavani was also away on international duty with Uruguay but has been confirmed to have contracted the covid-19 and will have to self-isolate for two weeks, confirming his absence on Saturday.

Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, and Luke Shaw are all going to miss the game as well.
